We turn every dive into knowledge, action, and impact for the ocean

The DiveLife community has:

divers
+37,000
centers
+300
countries
+30

Every year, this community completes thousands of dives and comes into direct contact with some of the most valuable and vulnerable ecosystems on the planet. DiveLife turns that activity into a tool to protect them: we digitize dives, structure marine life observations, bring conservation projects closer to divers, and generate funding for the ocean.

Conservation is part of the diving experience.

10%

of our profits go to marine conservation

Every booking helps grow a source of funding for initiatives that work directly for the marine environment.

Our goal is for the impact to grow at the same pace as the platform, and for the community to know which projects receive support, how much is allocated, and what results are achieved.

Three ways we create impact

01

Building a culture of sustainability

THE CHALLENGE

Millions of people dive every year and develop a direct connection with the ocean. Yet conservation remains separate from the everyday diving experience. Simple ways to learn, discover local initiatives, and actively take part in protecting the ocean are missing.

WHAT WE DO

We build sustainability into the diver's everyday journey.

The DiveLife community of 37,000+ people can:

  • learn about the species they encounter
  • better understand the ecosystems where they dive
  • discover conservation projects
  • take part in ocean-related initiatives
  • contribute financially through bookings and donations
  • share knowledge with other divers

The goal is for every dive to not end when you leave the water, but instead leave behind learning, information, and a deeper involvement with the marine environment.

02

Generating knowledge about marine biodiversity

THE CHALLENGE

More than 50 million dives take place every year.
Each one can generate valuable information about species, places, and environmental conditions. Without common infrastructure, much of that data is lost.

WHAT WE DO

DiveLife turns every logged dive into structured information about the ocean.

When a diver logs a dive, they can attach:

  • location and date
  • species observed
  • photographs
  • dive site information

Every log helps build a living map of marine biodiversity, with observations located in space and time.

Our purpose is to continuously measure:

  • digitized dives
  • species observations
  • species identified
  • areas and sites with data
  • changes in sightings
  • divers contributing data
03

Digitizing a global industry

THE CHALLENGE

The diving industry consumes around 200 million sheets of paper every year in processes that could be digitized.

Bookings, certifications, payments, and dives remain scattered across multiple systems, creating duplication, lost information, and inefficient processes.

WHAT WE DO

DiveLife turns fragmented processes into connected digital operations for centers, professionals, and divers.

The platform allows digitizing:

  • bookings and payments
  • calendars and availability
  • activities and trips
  • documentation and certifications
  • instructor assignments
  • diver check-in
  • dive logging and validation
  • biodiversity observations

Digitizing these processes reduces paper use, avoids duplication, and improves the quality of available information.

Every digitized center helps build a more complete picture of dives, destinations, and marine biodiversity.

How we measure our impact

DiveLife structures its impact around three major dimensions.

Marine biodiversity

  • Digitally logged dives.
  • Species observations with location and date.
  • Different species identified.
  • Dive sites with biodiversity data.
  • Divers contributing observations.

Culture of sustainability

  • Users who browse marine life content.
  • People taking part in conservation projects.
  • Donations made by the community.
  • Interactions with environmental initiatives.
  • Centers and professionals involved in conservation actions.

Industry digitization

  • Digitized centers.
  • Bookings processed digitally.
  • Check-ins and validated dives.
  • Documents and certifications managed paperlessly.
  • Countries and regions connected to the infrastructure.

OUR COMMITMENT

DiveLife connects a global community of divers and centers, but our impact is measured by more than its size.

We measure how many dives generate data, how many species are identified, how many processes are digitized, and how many resources reach conservation projects.

Sustainability is not a separate initiative. It is part of the product, the business model, and the information generated by the community.

Every booking funds.

Every dive informs.

Every observation adds knowledge.

Every new diver amplifies the impact.

Diving with DiveLife also means helping protect the ocean.
